The Origin Story

“I couldn’t find a simple mind-body practice that actually worked—so I created one myself.”

I’ve been exploring the mind-body connection for more than two decades. My journey began in 2004 when I attended my first seminar with Gabor Maté. Over the years, I read extensively, attended courses, and experimented with a wide range of mind-body approaches, always searching for practical ways to improve well-being.

A couple of years ago, I started doing something different. Instead of practicing mind-body techniques separately, I began combining them into one simple daily routine. I did Soma18 for a year and noticed some big changes. Other people noticed the difference as well.

Soma18 is a simple, evidence-informed method that combines powerful brain and body exercises into one integrated practice. Rather than treating the mind and body as separate systems, Soma18 works with the way they were designed to naturally function together.
